1) Gentleness:
Be sensitive, tender, make challenge as easy to hear as possible. Speak the truth in love.
2) Helpfulness:
Meet the persons needs of the moment.
3) Willingness:
Kindness inspires you to be agreeable. Look for reasons to compromise and accommodate
4) Initiative:
Kindness thinks ahead; then takes the first step. When acting from kindness, you see the need then make the 1st move.
Love in its truest sense is not based on feelings. Love determines to show thoughtful actions even when there seems to be no reward.

Consider the possibilities.....
Make sure that you are open to and available for the greater possibilities in your life for bigger blessings. You'll never be able to fully enjoy what God has in store for you if you don't get out of bed, out of your own way, or out of your house to try anything new. You have to be open to new experiences and opportunities.
Don't be close minded or afraid to step out of your comfort. Fear is known as the false evidence appearing real so enclosing act as if you can't fail at whatever you set your mind to do.

Love Is Kind
"Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."
Ephesians 4:32
Kindness is love in action. If patience is how love reacts in order to minimize a negative circumstance, kindness is how love acts to maximize a positive circumstance. Patience avoids a problem, kindness creates a blessing. One is preventative, the other proactive. These two sides of love are the cornerstones on which many of the other attributes we will discuss are built. Love makes you kind and kindness makes you likeable. When you're kind, people want to be around you. They see you as being good to them and good for them.
Do you have room to grow in this area? Can you be more kind to others?

Happy New Year
I am very thankful and excited that I made it into the New Year safe and sound. I am thankful for all of my blessings, trials and tribulations, storms and opportunities that 2016 brought. I lost two very good friends in last year and I miss them dearly. Lessons that I have learned from 2016 is don't sweat the small stuff, give a person their flowers while they can still smell them, be intentional on showing those you care about love, affection and attention. Make sacrifices for the greater good for your family and invest in yourself. Don't allow meaningless people to waste your time. I appreciate all of my followers on Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Twitter. May God direct your steps and bless you so much that your cup runs over....

Invest In Yourself!
1. Show me your circle of friends and I'll show you your future.
2. Don't let you be the reason you don't succeed or hit your goal.
3. Don't worry if people don't like you, most people are struggling to like themselves.
4. Don't like the chapter you're in, write a new one. You're the author of your life.
5. Maturity is learning to walk away from people and situations that threaten your peace of mind, self respect, values morals, or self worth.
Many people will make excuses versus investing in themselves. $20 is not an unreasonable amount of money to invest in you. Make sure you put yourself first and figure out what your passion is and go for it. Don't be afraid to leap....

Life's Journey
It's interesting the twists, turns and curve balls that life will throw at you that are simply beyond your control. I am learning how to remain humble and not seek revenge against those who attack me and try to cut me deep. The saying misery loves company is very true. I am highly disappointed at the negative and cheap shots that people take at others. The pure evil motives that people have as it pertains to another human being is sickening. It's not easy taking the high road and not stooping to the level of someone else's pettiness. I guess the saying is true when a person has nothing to lose that person will try to cost you everything you have worked hard to accomplish. I want to encourage you not to be discouraged because affliction is only temporary....

Darren Seals
Although I didn't know Darren Seals personally we stand/stood for the same cause. We are fighting the same fight but from two different angles. He was an civil rights activist in Ferguson, MO who found his God given purpose and pursued it with passion 100%. Bruce Franks, Jr. is another person who is walking in his purpose and redefining what community is and means to those in the 78th district. My prayers and condolences go out to the Seals family during this tragedy of losing someone who meant so much to so many. Everyone should have access to equal opportunity and equal justice in America; however, we know the reality of this isn't true. St. Louis have had 6 deaths in the past 2 years the same way that Darren Seals died. He was shot in the head and burned up inside of his car. This was done by a cold hearted killer who had no regard for human life. It's sad that we still live in a climate where our voices are being suppressed, our right to vote is being suppressed and that we are still having to demand respect and for people to be held accountable for their wrong doing. Turn your pain into your passion and learn to walk into your purpose.
