1) Celebrate him when he comes home: He wants to feel valued & appreciated when coming in from a world that doesn't value & appreciate him.
2) Make the extra effort at home: He loves it when you look amazing when you're out & he loves it even more when you make an effort to catch his eye when you're home. Men are visual.
3) Support his hobbies: Surprising him w/ a gift card to his favorite golf course, store or sponsor his fishing trip will go a long way with him.
4) Initiate Sex: Believe it or not men want to know that they are wanted.
5) Affirm Him with your words: He's still secretly showing off for you & an atta'boy is to Him what spinach is to Popeye.

This is a great start. As black man working in corporate America and in the good ole boy network we have to work 10 times harder to prove ourselves. We can do 10 things right and never get praised for it but let us make one mistake and it is like we ruined the whole company. So yes when we come home if the woman that we are in a relationship with supports us and our dream and just shows love, compassion and caring that is what we need and in return we will continue to elevate out love for her and treat her like our queen.
